This is not going to be your regular review of a hotel as I was only there for 9 hours and spent 8 of those asleep. But I must comment on the staff and the service they provided me. For reasons that are too long to explain here, I arrived at the hotel 24 hours ahead of my actual booking. Thank you oh soooo much Swiss Air! Is it really so hard to get dates and flight times correct?! Apparently, it is!! Anyhow, I arrived at midnight, 24 hours early after 4 days of planes, buses and taxis from Asia. I was expecting things to go badly, seeing everything else had been a bit of a cluster f%$k up to now. But the charming man on the desk, (sorry I didn't get his name) after some brief sucking of teeth, managed to alter my booking, and gave me an upgraded room into the bargain. Although I only have his word on that last item. I was not charged extra, or told some sob story about needing to cancel bookings or any of the other things I have heard in different hotels. Also, when I asked for a taxi in the morning, the same member of staff informed me that I had no need of a taxi, as the train/bus station is just a 5-minute walk in a straight line from the hotel. And he was right, even while dragging a 25kg case behind me. Other than that, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the WiFi worked as expected. This place is just a 7€ ride from the airport by taxi, and 5 minute walk from Oriente rail and bus terminal.

It is a very good hotel located close to airport. Centro Comercial vasco do gama is only 5 minutes on foot. They have a decent restaurant. The room is nice and very comfortable. Large bathroom. The only thing is that the bathroom window is a bit short and the water is flushed to the ground. Also the staff for the check in and out must smile. Their face is very odd and you feel as if you are a burden.

The hotel is a airport / business district hotel .. functional I’d suggest .. reception friendly and helpful. My room was dated but clean ! The air conditioning was extremely poor which promoted me to write this review ..breakfast adequate I’d suggest average like the hotel with standing the air con

Beautiful Hotel. Location was great but had to pay for parking. We are in our early sixties and one of the staff was very rude and had no patience when we asked about where to park. The parking was not explained to us by this staff member. Although we only wanted to park for a few hours, she went ahead and charged us for the full day and told us to make a payment. She was a young lady and extremely rude. We had to explain to her several times that it was only for a few hours as we had a rental which needed to be returned in two hours. Finally, I asked for a manager who resolved the issue.

Enjoyed one night stay. Lovely rooms & very clean. Did not have breakfast but reception very good booked taxi for 4.30am for early morning flight. €90 for couple very good value - close proximity to airport 2.5km. Number of restaurants in walking distance.
